A Criminal MasterKitty

Be wary of felines – they are masters at feigning to be a perfect pet, yet behind your back…

Criminal MasterKitty

Don’t be taking in by her innocent looks. Beneath the surface lurks a fine feline mind coupled with some less than fine intent.

Known committed and attempted felonies include:

  • Viciously ravaging many, many, MANY electric and electronic cables. Casualties have included: two phones, two sets of computer speakers, a laptop adapter, and phone cords. Most, if not all, cordlike objects in her domain of terror are repeatedly pocked with “vampire marks” of varying size.
  • Rarely missing an opportunity to quickly and silently follow the human in order to check if the bedroom door was actually closed, or sufficiently ajar to break in and dive for the cover of the bed.
  • When the preceding is successful, taunting the human from under the bed, having learned from experience that the key is to stay on one side under the bed, then quickly change to the other side as the human comes around.
  • Repeatedly attempting to open the bedroom door by hanging off the doorknob.
  • Having figured out how to open the kitchen “door”/barrier by pressing into it with enough force that it rebounds and becomes ajar.
  • Human exploitation: having learned that a sleeping human on a couch is a comfortable and available source of warmth.
  • Generally striking fear into the hearts of humans and machines everywhere, that any expensive equipment is at the mercy of those jaws.

For even a small sample of the lengths that have to be taken:

Notice the bunched up cable that slipped out and became unprotected. That was not noticed until the picture was taken. It is (now) a partially severed PS2 power cord.

And in the spirit of true evil genius, this feline happily insults as well as injures. Despite rarely sleeping on an unadorned couch, she makes a special exception (multiple times throughout the day), as the couch covers have been newly washed:
