Over the last couple years I’ve started to realize the complaints one normally hears from the middle-aged about their body. While I never thought they were made up, they didn’t much stick in my mind either. My extraordinarily sedentary lifestyle, however, seems to have brought me to middle-age early; in the immediate case, something about a pinched nerve.
As it seems to be seated computer time that kicks it off, I’m going to try a week without computers to see if there’s improvement, with an exception for the day job. For those who know me even slightly well, this is an unusual state of affairs.
The last time I did something like this, I reformatted my only computer, focused on my upcoming exams, and still only lasted three days before “needing” to get it up and useful again. Maybe my health will provide more motivation than my marks.
