Barely started on the real planning for Italy; don’t even have accommodations for all the legs of the trip, and I fly in 3 weeks!
I’m glad a recent conversation with a friend reminded me about Priceline, though. I’ve always meant to try it, but I always forget about it whenever I travel.
That I’m writing about it, one can easily deduce I got a deal – and what a deal! I’ll be staying at the 3-star Hotel Kraft in Florence for U$80 per night! Priceline’s median for the region was U$340! The hotel’s own website cites 220 per night.
I haven’t been so fortunate for lodgings in Rome or Venice, but here’s to hoping!
