For a change of pace, I went to my first comedy show at Second City, to see Facebook of Revelations.
It was pretty entertaining, and it had very little do with Facebook, or Revelations, or the two combined (thankfully). A rapid fire series of skits, varying in length and humour, provided a stream of wit, parody, low humour, and high humour (no puns though – too bad ). The appetizer sweet potato fries with avocado dip wasn’t bad either.
As many people remark, it’s surprising what new things one can find, even after living for years in the same old city, if one merely makes a serious effort to look.
